Shuttles connecting the cliffs usually leave from the port of Doolin. You will then have the choice between 2 competing companies: Doolin 2 Aran Ferries and O’Brien Line. Their services are quite similar, and both offer you the opportunity to go to the foot of the cliffs, to take in the view and enjoy the sea spray and the sea air!

The boats are big enough to accommodate about ten travellers. You will benefit from the skills of a guide who will introduce you to the specificities of each cliff. The explanations are friendly, convivial, always distilled with a dose of Irish humour!

Above all, don’t forget to dress warmly: the sea air can be cool, and you won’t be safe from a few waves either! Please note that the boats do not leave in bad weather: so, do not hesitate to check the local weather forecast before going to Doolin…

The view from the cliffs below is spectacular! Don’t hesitate to take your camera with you: the view is really worth the detour and you will feel really small in front of the immensity of these Cliffs of Moher and the beauty of the ocean!
