Stradbally Mountain is another mountain of the Dingle Peninsula. Situated south of Castlegregory village, it peaks at 798 metres and offers a breathtaking view of the rest of the Peninsula. A must see for lovers of commando trekking!
Let’s face it, Stradbally Mountain is not an easy hike! It requires good physical fitness and excellent endurance. The gradients are quite significant, and a high level of endurance is required to reach the summit!
In any case, the panorama offered at the finish will reward you for all your efforts, and will allow you to discover a clear view of the Dingle Peninsula, its coast, as well as its other surrounding mountains. You will be able to distinguish Brandon Mountain, another mountain located further south, which culminates at more than 950 meters of altitude. A magnificent spectacle in perspective!
