There are many possibilities to discover and explore the Mweelrea Mountains! But the most ideal solution remains walking. You will then be spoilt for choice when choosing the circuit and the mountain to be surveyed! It all depends on your level of walking and your desire.
However, the difference in altitude is often quite significant, and we recommend that you leave with good hiking equipment. Preferably without children. You can also be accompanied by a guide if necessary. He will be able to show you the most beautiful places!
On the walking side, the paths are mainly stony, and you will be able to admire throughout your walk the magnificent flora and fauna of the surroundings. You will discover magnificent flowers, as well as thistles and other herbaceous plants that punctuate the mountains of Mweelrea.
