Mullaghmore Head is a micro peninsula in County Sligo. Facing the Atlantic Ocean, the area is full of postcard-like landscapes. Green hills and dry stone walls are criss-crossed by the sea… Ocean blue with deep colours… Enough to make your eyes glaze over!
Mullaghmore Head is pretty easy to get to. Just follow the N15 to the village of Mullaghmore. Feel free to push on further, where nature takes over, and where human habitation is becoming increasingly scarce.
It is here, at Mullahmore Head, that you will be able to admire one of the most beautiful panoramas of Sligo County. Between cliffs, rocks, and green hills plunging into the ocean, it must be said that the spectacle is rather grandiose!
Do not hesitate to walk along the coast: the landscapes are changing and majestic. Be careful however not to venture too close to the edge: the area is windy and can be dangerous.
