Marble Hill Beach is a large Irish beach located in Sheephaven Bay on the north coast of County Donegal. Well situated in the bay and in the middle of two headlands, Marble Hill is in a very sheltered location, making the water relatively calm and suitable for swimming. An ideal place for a family afternoon in fine weather!
The beach is located in a natural and well-preserved area, rich in wildlife. The sand dunes surrounding the beach are an ideal place for bird watching and wildflower watching. Children in general are delighted!
Marble Hill beach has been awarded Blue Flag status, which means not only that the water is clean, but also that there are many services offered on site, such as water monitoring services from June to September, usually from 12:00 to 18:30. You will find shops and restaurants in the nearby villages of Portnablagh and Dunfanaghy.
There are a few parking spaces along the beach with direct access.
