A manor house converted into a hotel

The Butler House was built for Lady Eleanor Butle in the 18th century, a descendant of the famous family of the Earls and Dukes Butler of Ormonde. After having been passed down from generation to generation, the manor was then ceded to the Irish State, which decided to restore it.

Since then, the manor has been converted into a bed and breakfast, but can also be visited by tourists passing through.

You will be able to admire the Georgian architecture of the manor, as well as its newly landscaped gardens. The walks are pleasant, and you can take advantage of a small path marked out to discover all the secrets of the manor.

Unfortunately, only guests of the Butler House will be able to admire its interior decoration, with its art deco furniture from the 1970s. The interior is cosy, comfortable and full of history. As for the rooms, they are simply superb! (Count about 115/150€ per night and per person).
