Fans of the famous and legendary Game of Thrones TV series should be aware that a Dublin-based tourism and transport company is offering you the chance to follow in the footsteps of the filming of the series, by setting off on a tour that will take you through the filming locations all the way to Northern Ireland! Will you let yourself be tempted?

Return to the tracks of the Game of Thrones Series!

The Dublin Winterfell Day Tour is a full day tour starting in the morning from Dublin city centre. It takes you back in the footsteps of the series, visiting some of the most significant filming locations in the series. On the program, grandiose landscapes, thick forests, lakes, mountains, and above all, visits to castles! Icing on the cake: you will even be able to wield the weapons of the series!

Here is an overview of the program:

• 8:30 am: Meeting point at the Jurys Inn on North Wall Quay in Dublin. You will then board a black bus in the colours of the series: impossible to miss!
  8:45 am: departure from Dublin.
• 9h45/10h00 : crossing the Northern Irish border, then discovery of the coastal road (the Mourne Coast Road).
• 12h00 : stop at Strangford, then Castle Ward where you will discover “Winterfell”, emblematic place of the series. Here, you will visit a 17th century castle on the banks of the river Strangford, as well as a second castle from the 15th century: Tower House, which was used as the tower of Walder Frey’s twins and also as the site of Robb’s camp. For those who wish to fully immerse themselves in the place, archery will be offered, as well as a session where you can dress in the clothes of the series.
• 2:15 pm: Photo stop at the place where Catelyn and Robb learn of Ned’s death.
• 3:30 pm: stop in the large Tollymore Forest Park, a 630-hectare forest where scenes of great importance to the series were shot.
• 4:30 pm : Return to Dublin, arriving around 6:30 pm.

Please note that lunch is included in the day.
