The Comeragh Mountains consist of 12 imposing mountains. Its highest peak, “Fauscoum” culminates at 792 meters and is one of the most popular spots for walkers and mountaineers.

The setting offered by the mountains is exceptional. To be discovered preferably by good weather: the colours are changing and magnificent, and you will feel very small in this environment so wild and majestic!

We recommend that you leave in a group, well equipped and covered, with a good level to explore the mountains: some accesses are clearly reserved for seasoned sportsmen and women!

Among the most unmissable spots, don’t miss its famous lake, the Coumshingaun Lough, which is surrounded by the Comeragh Mountains. You will be able to admire the lake from the top of the mountain, and enjoy a most unforgettable view of its mysterious waters! Beware, people prone to vertigo should refrain!
