Visit Portlaoise

A nice town…

In Portlaoise, life goes on quietly, thanks to tourism and local agriculture. You will be able to stroll in the city centre, and visit their few shops. The inhabitants are rather cordial there and will not be in remainder to tie conversation with you!

Among the sights of the city, don’t miss the Old St Peter’s Church, a ruined church with an Anglo-Norman style tower. The vegetation practically covers it, and the building has a natural aura, which knows how to charm the tourists…
