What to expect?

County Carlow (“Contae Cheatharlach” in Irish Gaelic) is a superb area for lovers of dolmens and Irish wilderness! The area is full of possibilities, whether it is in terms of hiking, museum visits, or the discovery of megalithic monuments! The region is also home to the largest dolmen ever recorded in all of Europe: the Brownshill Dolmen!
