Ballycastle is known to be home to countless archaeological remains. Among them, let’s especially note that of Céide Fields, one of the largest Neolithic sites ever discovered in the World! It has cairns, stone circles and exceptional alignments!

Also, among other must-see attractions, Downpatrick Head, a Peninsula of breathtaking beauty! On your walk around the site, you will see a huge piece of cliff that has come off the whole: it is now just a few metres offshore and is called the Dun Briste. A real attraction for travellers!
