We had already talked about this. Matt Damon had to live the confinement in Ireland, while he was shooting a film there under the direction of Ridley Scott (The Duel). Faced with the coronavirus lockout, the actor had to suspend his film project, and live with his family in a luxurious house in Dalkey (County Dublin), rented on Airbnb.
The situation having calmed down, the famous Hollywood actor is finally going to leave the house, after almost 2 months of confinement.
The opportunity for us to unveil to you how paradisiacal was the house in which he stayed!
And we have to admit it: spending 2 months in the middle of Covid-19 in a house like this must have been quite pleasant! And for good reason! Already thanks to its setting: the house is nestled in the area of the village of Dalkey and faces the sea! A breathtaking view, which the house shares with other prestigious houses, occupied by some neighbours like Bono from U2, or Van Morrison!
Add to this top amenities: 5 bedrooms, a magnificent kitchen, a sauna, a jaccuzi, a swimming pool… In short, enough to enjoy the beauties of Ireland without having to leave the house!
Matt Damon did not fail to describe life in Dalkey during an interview with a local radio station “Spin 1038”. He described local life as “like a fairy tale” and “one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever been“.
It must be said that the press reported Matt Damon’s kindness throughout the lockout. The latter has always been respectful of the sanitary instructions, exchanging with the inhabitants of Dalkey, and going for a few dives in the open sea to keep in shape.
If you are interested in the house, you can find it on the AirBnB website. But beware. Although this house is already available for rent from May 31st, it is expensive: you will have to count 7 300€ per week.
