Galway Hooker is an Irish beer produced by the independent microbrewery “Galway Hooker Brewery”, based in Oranmore, County Galway. The latter was created by 2 cousins in 2006: Aidan Murphy and Ronan Brennan. Rather fine and tasty, the Galway Hooker is a beer that should seduce lovers of refreshing beer!

Taste the Galway Hooker Beer

An atypical beer with a strong character!

The Galway Hooker Irish Pale Ale is the flagship product of the eponymous brewery. Although it is a lager, it can be quite confusing: in terms of taste, it combines the freshness of a lager with the caramelized roundness of a red beer!

A strange but very enjoyable combination that has earned it many medals and awards since the beginning of its production!

It must be said that the brewery uses the best of the ingredients necessary for the brewing of its beers. This quality can be felt immediately from the first sip. The hops and malt used result in a rather pleasant beer with an alcohol content of 4.3%.

To taste it, Galway Hooker is available in many irish pubs in Galway, Dublin, Cork and Roscommon. It is served on draught, and is well worth the detour if you want to change from the traditional Irish beers produced on an industrial scale.

A must try for the curious!

Alcohol abuse is dangerous for your health. Consume in moderation.
