Every year, the Irish capital organises the New Year’s Festival of Dublin, which celebrates the coming New Year for 3 days. A moment rich in events, and which is always eagerly awaited for its “Procession of Light” or “Parade of Lights”. This event consists of illuminating the city’s biggest monuments with 3D projection. The rendering is magnificent and surprising!

Historic buildings in Dublin take on a new dimension!

The Dublin Procession of Light is simply a way to rediscover Dublin’s buildings from a more contemporary perspective. Bright colours, projected messages, animations of all kinds: the show is worth seeing!

The animation is free: just walk through the city to discover these little nuggets! Among the most emblematic places are Trinity College, the Four Courts, or the General Post Office on O’Connell Street.

The lights change throughout the night, and even keep the countdown to the New Year going! A nice moment, to discover without hesitation: at night, Dublin is literally magical!
