Mark Ryder

Mark Ryder is a Northern Irish actor, best known for playing the famous Cesare Borgia in the series “Borgia”. Rising star of Northern Irish cinema, Mark Ryder is only in his early days, but already shows a solid talent!

Mark Ryder’s Career

An actor made for tortured roles

Mark Ryder was born in Northern Ireland in 1989. After studying at the Methodist College in Belfast, he made his film debut in Five Minutes of Heaven, alongside Liam Neeson and James Nesbitt. The film was a success, and Mark Ryder, critically acclaimed.

Since then, the actor played a second anecdotal role in Ridley Scott’s Robin Hood in 2010. But the consecration of Mark Ryder will rather take place in 2011, when he is accepted to play in the Borgia series, as Cesare. The series then propels him quickly, and the critics congratulate him for his performances. His atypical face and his verve make him an exceptional actor, capable of slipping into the shoes of a character as rough as he is ambiguous with Cesare Borgia.
